What we buy
Collections and estates — ten pens and up.
We buy accumulations: a drawer, a case, a lifetime of buying. Restored or unrestored, working or not, boxed or loose. Parts and nibs count toward the total. We do not make offers on single pens or small handfuls — answering two questions below will tell you in about fifteen seconds whether we are the right buyer.
- Montblanc
- Parker
- Sheaffer
- Waterman
- Pelikan
- Wahl-Eversharp
- Conklin
- Esterbrook
- S.T. Dupont
- Aurora
- Pilot & Namiki
- Limited editions
How selling by mail works
Nothing ships until you have a number in writing.
-
Send photos or a list
Overview shots of the case or drawer are enough to start. Close-ups of imprints and nibs help.
-
Receive a written offer
We research sold prices and reply with a figure and how we got there. No obligation.
-
Ship on our insured label
Accept and we email a prepaid, insured label. Local to Northeast Florida? We come to you instead.
-
Get paid on arrival
We confirm the pens match the photos and pay the same day by check or transfer.

Two questions. Then you will know.
No email required to find out. We will tell you straight away whether your collection is one we buy.
Question 1 of 2
Question 2 of 2
Yes — this is what we buy
Send us the details and we will come back with a number.
Fill this in and we will reply within one business day with either a written offer or the specific questions we need answered first. Nothing ships until you have a figure in writing.
- Send this form first — photos go by email straight afterwards, and we will hand you a pre-addressed message to attach them to.
- Overview shots of the drawer or case are more useful than one perfect close-up.
- Local to Northeast Florida or Southeast Georgia? Say so and we will come to you.

Not a fit for us
We only buy collections of ten pens or more.
We are a collection buyer, not a single-pen dealer. Buying one pen or a small handful costs us the same research and handling time as buying fifty, so the honest answer is that we are the wrong buyer for you — and that we would rather say so now than waste your afternoon.
You will do better with one of these:
- A single valuable pen — eBay with good photographs of the imprint and nib, or a consignment specialist, will beat any wholesale offer.
- A well-known modern brand — Montblanc, Pelikan, S.T. Dupont — has an active enthusiast market on the Pen Collectors of America classifieds and the r/Pen_Swap and r/fountainpens buy-sell-trade boards.
- A pen you want valued, not sold — an independent appraiser is the right call. A purchase offer from any dealer, including us, is not a qualified appraisal.
If you turn up more pens than you thought — a second drawer, a box in the garage, a relative with their own set — come back and answer again. Ten is the line.
Prefer to talk it through?
Call and ask for Jon. We buy toys, trains, slot cars and other collectible accumulations too — often in the same house as the pens.
